Firefly-RK3288 、Firefly-RK3399 the newest Android firmware supports dual-screen display, one monitor can play video and the other monitor can do other things.


Application


Dual display can be applied to many products, including POS Machines, KTV Machine,  Office,  Game Machine.

Hardware Preparation


  1.  A Firefly-RK3288 / Firefly-RK3399  (or other board with dual display), two monitors


  2. Firefly open source board connects two monitors: Firefly-RK3288 uses HDMI + VGA, Firefly-RK3399 uses HDMI + DP

Demonstration


  1. Copy a MP4 video to / sdcard / directory, named 123.mp4.

2. Install DualVideoScreen.apk

3. Open DualVideoScreen application, one screen shows the video, the main screen displays luncher (which can be normal operation of other applications).

4. Click DualVideoScreen again, you can turn off dual display.
