Rockchip dual-chip solution combines task scheduling and data pre-processing with a dedicated 20 TOPS NPU for AI inference. Its 3D RAM stacking architecture delivers high bandwidth to smoothly run 3B/7B parameter models locally with millisecond-level response.

Dual-Core Architecture

Adopting a main module and auxiliary RK182X module architecture, interconnected via PCIe, enables efficient collaboration. The main module handles task scheduling & data preprocessing, while RK182X dedicates its compute power to AI inference. It supports model parallelism & multi-task coordination, ideally suited for robotics navigation & multimodal perception at the edge.

8K Video Codec Support

The main module, features an octa-core CPU architecture and its high-performance VPU, delivers robust 8K video codec and multi-channel 4K stream processing. Combined with the AI compute power of the RK182X co-processor, it enables real-time video analytics for intelligent edge vision applications.

High-Bandwidth DRAM

Integrates high-bandwidth embedded DRAM (2.5GB/5GB variants), delivering a token generation rate of over 100 tokens/s with an end-to-end latency as low as 0.1s for efficient local AI processing.

Millisecond-Level Low Latency

Local AI processing minimizes network reliance, ensuring millisecond-level response and enhanced data privacy. The dedicated RK182X NPU, coordinated by the main module, maintains real-time decision-making even in poor network conditions, boosting reliability and safety in critical applications like medical monitoring and autonomous driving.

POE Gigabit Ethernet Port

Features 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, of which 9 support POE (PSE) functionality, enabling high-throughput data transfer and multi-device connectivity. Its strong compatibility with ONVIF/RTSP-compliant network cameras makes it ideal for security, education, and industrial safety applications.

Onboard SATA/PCIe Interfaces

Onboard SATA 3.0 and M.2 PCIe interfaces support TB-scale storage expansion with SSDs/HDDs. Combined with the RK182X co-processor, it enables efficient local processing of AI datasets and video logs, eliminating cloud transmission risks—ideal for data-intensive tasks like NAS and long-term monitoring.

Rich Expansion Interfaces

Offers a comprehensive set of interfaces including USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, RS485, IO and UART for seamless hardware expansion and multi-modal input, significantly enhancing the product's adaptability and scalability.
