Industrial-grade chip RK3506J

Equipped with Rockchip's latest industrial-grade chip RK3506J, featuring a 22nm advanced process technology,
it integrates a tri-core ARM Cortex-A7 with a single-core Cortex-M0, operating at a speed of up to 1.5GHz.

Low latency,
high real-time performance

Supports AMP (Asynchronous Multi-Processing) heterogeneous multi-core
architecture, where a single chip can support flexible combinations of Linux, RTOS,
and Bare-metal, such as 2×Cortex-A7 Linux + 1×Cortex-A7 RTOS + Cortex-M0 HAL
or 3×Cortex-A7 RTOS + Cortex-M0 HAL, using the standard RPMsg
inter-core communication mechanism.

Adapting to a lightweight
UI framework

The RK3506J SDK natively supports the LVGL lightweight UI framework and,
combined with the chip's internal 2D hardware acceleration, makes LVGL
run more smoothly. The entire chain from hardware power-up to
bootloader loading and kernel loading, and finally to UI display,
is optimized for startup.

Supporting multiple operating systems

The SDK supports Linux Kernel 6.1, offers support based on the Buildroot system, and also supports AMP heterogeneous multi-core systems.
It is the first to implement the RTOS SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processing) mode on the Rockchip multi-core architecture,
adding support for multi-core scheduling in real-time systems.
