Voice call and SMS are essential communication tools, used for voice intercom, notifications, identity verification, and more. 4G voice call and SMS function are supported on Firefly RK3399 platform, ensuring seamless and lag-free voice calls, as well as real-time sending and receiving of messages. With 4G voice call and SMS, devices features enhanced communication, making them smarter and more versatile for a wide range of applications.
In this solution, we will use IPC-M10R800-A3399C (AI).

Steps
1. Download the firmware

2. Firmware upgrade
For firmware upgrading, please refer to Wiki tutorial.
Once the upgrade is completed, connect the device to the communication module by using a USB cable, and then plug the earphones into the communication module.
How to do:
1. Send a text message
Tap the "Message" application and the "+" icon located at the bottom right corner. Enter the recipient's phone number and send a text message.
2. Make a phone call
Tap the "Dialer" application. Dial the number you want to call.
3. Answer a phone call
Tap the "Answer" to receive a call.
